Pop-Up Art Market in Hoboken

A few weekends ago I participated in a group pop-up art show in Hoboken. Several artists were featured, each having their own room to show work in. I was able to show several pieces in a small office space. Take a look!

These two pieces are part of a series called, Flower Talk.

The Jazz Age. I created this actually at the suggestion of my husband and was really thrilled with how it came out.

Let them eat cake, this piece was created over time. Each part of it was created separately and then all came together shortly before the show.

Coffee shops, Framing shops, art shows, OH MY!

Trying to launch an art career while you’re a stay at home mom is hectic. The summer was tough, and I didn’t complete as much work or find as many opportunities as I wanted to but I seem to be making steady progress now the school has started.

In our city I have 5 pieces hanging at a coffee shop (Hudson Coffee) that I hung this month! I also have another piece that will soon be having in the window of a local framing shop, and one other that will hang in a local restaurant. Small steady steps.
